In an effort to
provide new families with detailed and consistent information, the Harris Road
Middle School Administration and School Counselors will hold information
sessions and tours at the times listed below. These sessions are designed
for 6th-8th grade students who plan to attend HRMS in the 2016-2017 school year or
in the 2017-2018 school year. Due to the number of requests, individual tours cannot be scheduled. Please plan to attend one of the group sessions listed below.
March 15, 2017 @ 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - March 30, 2017 @ 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - April 28, 2017 @ 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Tours will also be scheduled for June, July, and August. Dates and times T.B.D.

How do I enroll my student and what information do I need?
When can I enroll my student for the 2017-2018 school year?
Students cannot be enrolled until they are withdrawn from their current school. Students finishing the 16-17 school year at their current school will be enrolled over the summer. Please complete the Pre-Registration Form
to indicate your intent to enroll in HRMS.
What classes do you offer at HRMS?

Can new students choose elective classes?
Students can fill out an elective class form upon enrollment. Students are placed in elective classes based on availability.
How is placement in advanced E/LA and math determined?
When new students enroll, a placement team reviews student records. If student test scores and grades meet the current criteria, the student will be placed in advanced classes. If a student is currently in a CCS elementary school, all placement decisions are made by the elementary school. Please understand that placement decisions cannot be made until the student is officially enrolled and all student educational records are received and reviewed.
