FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

How do I enroll my student and what information do I need?

When can I enroll my student for the 2017-2018 school year?
Students cannot be enrolled until they are withdrawn from their current school.  Students finishing the 16-17 school year at their current school will be enrolled over the summer. Please complete the Pre-Registration Form to indicate your intent to enroll in HRMS.

What classes do you offer at HRMS?
Please see the INFORMATION GUIDE linked above.

Can new students choose elective classes?
Students can fill out an elective class form upon enrollment.  Students are placed in elective classes based on availability.

How is placement in advanced E/LA and math determined?
When new students enroll, a placement team reviews student records.  If student test scores and grades meet the current criteria, the student will be placed in advanced classes.  If a student is currently in a CCS elementary school, all placement decisions are made by the elementary school.  Please understand that placement decisions cannot be made until the student is officially enrolled and all student educational records are received and reviewed.
