Congratulations to our baseball team on their 5 to 3 win over C.C. Griffin yesterday!


Our baseball and volleyball teams will have away games next Tuesday with Harris Road.


Our soccer teams will have home games next Tuesday against Harris Road. Gold level students get in free and concessions will be available.


Congratulations to the track team for their success on their first meet this week. More specifically, congratulations to the following students for placing in one or more events: Brent Reece, Riley Hinson, Lincoln Baxter, Brianna Harwood, Dalton Miller, Walker Medlin, Chase Crayton, Maggie Kluttz, Max White, James Blackmon, Jase Yount, Shane Fernald, Ashely Dillon, Gracie Blackwell, and Emanuel Lopez.


Our track teams will have a meet at Kannapolis next Tuesday with Northwest Cabarrus, Concord, and Kannapolis.


MPMS Beta Club is sponsoring another Subway Night on Thursday, March 30 from 5-8pm. Please come out to Subway, drop off your receipt and support the Beta Club.


 

Wednesday, March 22

Our baseball and volleyball teams will have home games today against C.C. Griffin. Gold level students get in free and concessions will be available. Teachers, please dismiss the teams at 3:30.


Our soccer teams will play away today at C.C. Griffin. Good Luck to all our Tiger athletes! Teachers, please dismiss both teams at 3:15.


Please dismiss the track team at 3:30 to have their pictures made.

Our track teams will have a meet at Mt. Pleasant High School today with Winkler. Come out and support the boys’ and girls’ teams! Teachers: Please dismiss the track team at 3:00.


TSA will have our second to last meeting before State Conference today from 3:30-5pm. Have a ride here no later than 5:10.


Mr. Trivett’s Exploring Career Decisions class needs to meet in computer lab 128 today.


After school Math Tutoring is cancelled for today.  Tutoring will resume next Tuesday.  Remember, this Thursday is a half day. Afterschool Math Tutoring is available every Tuesday and Thursday from 4 -5 in Mrs. Childers' room and is a great way to get "free" help.  We hope to see you next Tuesday.  Please let your Math teacher know if you are interested in coming.


 

Monday, March 20

Our boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will have a home game today against Hickory Ridge. Gold level students get in free and concessions will be available. Boys’ game will start at 4:30 and girls’ game will follow.

Friday, March 17

Please come out tonight at 7pm as the MPMS Stagecrafters present their third quarter production of the year, "School Daze". Admission is $3. Come out and support your local actors! Please make sure you have a ride here by 7:45.


Congratulations to the baseball team for their victory yesterday over Concord, 20-0. Leading the way offensively for the Tigers was Jacob Price with 3 hits while Ryan Tyson and Hunter Sloop both added 2 hits of their own. Sawyer Osborne, Will Gray, Brady Duke, Clay Newmyer and Connor Mackling all contributed with a hit of their own. The big story of the game was the complete game, 6 strike outs, and a no hitter thrown by Will Gray on the mound. Next up for the baseball team is a road game on Monday against Hickory Ridge before returning home for a game on Wednesday against C. C. Griffin.


Congratulations to the girls’ soccer team for their victory over Concord! The entire team played incredibly well to beat Concord 3-0. Abbie Daquila led the Tigers with 2 goals and Elizabeth Harvell scored one goal. And a special shout out to goalkeeper, Kelsey Hall, who had 10 saves. The Tigers hope to see YOU at the next game!
