Concord High School School Counseling Department   

The mission of the Concord High School Counseling Department is to share with faculty, parents, and the community the responsibility of providing integrative services aimed at preparing students to meet the expectations of higher academic standards and to become productive and contributing members of society.  The school counselors provide a comprehensive and developmental program which promotes academic achievement, career success and personal/social development for all students.

 INTEREST SESSION for the RCCC Nurse Aide Program!!!!
INFORMATION SESSION MARCH 16 | 6:00 – 7:30 P.M. NCRC | Room 115 | 399 Biotechnology Lane, Kannapolis, N.C.
APPLICATION TURN IN APRIL 24 (Turn- in to school Counselor)
Nurse Aide → The Nurse Aide curriculum prepares individuals to work under the supervision of licensed nursing professionals in performing nursing care and services for persons of all ages.
 
 
 
 
Thank you to all seniors and senior parents who attended the informational meeting on Monday night.  I am attaching the PowerPoint that was used in the meeting.  If you have any further questions, please contact your student's counselor.  
 
 
 Registration for the 2017-2018 School Year:  Students will be registering for classes for next year beginning December 6 through December 20.  Students will come to the cafeteria during their second period classes to meet with their school counselors and register on the computer.  Students can alter their schedules on PowerSchool until February 1.
 
CFNC Financial Aid Night on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 6:30-7:45 pm 
CFNC Financial Aid Night will take place at CMC Northeast at the Hamrick Theater and Roper Commons.  Parking is available in the Visitors Deck.  This is a time to learn about the FAFSA and the financial aid application process. Junior and senior parents and students are encouraged to attend.  This will be a great opportunity to ask questions and start the college financial planning process.
