Important Info and Signups

We were just presented with an opportunity to help at the Weddington Hills Campus Cleanup this Saturday, April 8 from 9am-12pm. Mrs. Barron is in need of 10 volunteers to help at the event. You will receive 3 points for the 3 hours of service. Please dress appropriately and plan to get a little dirty. You'll be helping to plant, weed, and beautify the campus with elementary students. This is a GREAT opportunity for us to connect with students and let them see what Key Club can be for them in high school, while providing a service at the same time! If you have a Key Club shirt, please wear it.  To sign up, click here: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/20F0C4AACA72DA64-campus. If you have any questions, see or email Mrs. Rush.
On 4/11 from 5-9pm at Afton Sweetfrog at 6165 Bayfield Parkway Concord, NC 28027, we will be encouraging members to go to Sweetfrog. All proceeds received will be donated to March of Dimes. Please take a picture of yourself at sweetfrog and send it to jmrkeyclub@gmail.com for 2pts!
As a thank you to the school resource officers, we will be assembling goodie bags for the resource officers for all of the schools in Cabarrus County. The club officers will purchase the materials needed to assemble the bags, but we need members to stay after the 4/13 meeting to help with assembly. If you stay after to help assemble the bags you will receive a point.

Important Documents

  • Out of Club Points

You are allowed to receive up to 15 out of club points for non-Key Club oriented service that you provide. It is preferred that you continue to focus your efforts on helping women and children. To earn these points, you need to fill out the points form appropriately and turn it in to Mrs. Rush or our club secretary, Hayley Lowder. The officers will then discuss your out-of-club work and decide if it is worthy of points or not. Double dipping between multiple clubs to get points is not preferred. You may still submit the points but you are not guaranteed to receive them. Typically speaking you will receive one point for every hour of service that you complete.
