Focus School

Our school qualifies again this year for school-wide Title I Funding and services. Our Title I plan allows us to employ tutors that help serve students in grades K-5. These tutors will be assisting with Direct Instruction, Guided Reading, and interventions. Our Title I Funds are also used to employ three lead teachers, two interventionists, and to provide staff development training, and sponsor parent involvement activities. In addition, as a parent of a student in a Title I school, you may request information regarding the professional qualifications of your child's teacher. We are recognized as a focus school and are working to close the achievement gap among student subgroups.

  • Celebrating a Season of Super Attendance Absences often spike in the weeks before and after school breaks.  This is particularly true for families visiting relatives in other countries.  School success goes hand in hand with good attendance.
